THE BLACK SATURDAY Vol 6 Black Saturday is a platform for up and coming Hip Hop artists to showcase their talent to the masses. The concept behind Black Saturday is we go out into all the corners of Cape Town to find the best Hip Hop Acts and combine these great talents into one show where the chosen artists get to showcase their talent to a multi cultural and diversed crowd. We also allow Artists and Fashion Designers to showcase their products on the show all in the spirit of promoting underground Art. Black Saturday was established in 2011 By Themba Jekubeni(Timo Abdul Aziz Pahad) and Lerato Nkati and throughout the years this concept has achieved amazing credentials, It was nominated for a South African Hip Hop Award (SAHHA) and also got nominated for the MSF Austrialian Documentary award.
