Black Saturday is a platform for up and coming Hip Hop artists to showcase their talent to the masses. The concept behind Black Saturday is we  go out into all the corners of Cape Town to find the best Hip Hop Acts and combine these great talents into one show where the chosen artists get to showcase their talent to a multi cultural and diversed crowd. We also allow Artists and Fashion Designers to showcase their products on the show all in the spirit of promoting underground Art.

Black Saturday was established in 2011 By Themba Jekubeni(Timo Abdul Aziz Pahad) and Lerato Nkati and throughout the years this concept has achieved amazing credentials, It was nominated for a South African Hip Hop Award (SAHHA) and also got nominated for the MSF Austrialian Documentary award. It manage to win a lot of hearts from its supporters and it is said to be one of the Biggest Hip Hop events in the city of Cape Town.

Due to popular demand of the Black Affair, we had to come back with the 6th Edition (Black Saturday Vol VI) which will be taking place on the 27 JUNE 2015 at its HOME and also the Home of Cape Town Hip Hop at Kwa Mlamli also known as Dumalisile Arts and Culture #15 NY146 Gugulethu, Cape Town...

  So yeah BACK TO THE CITY2013!! You know mos umntomnyama, never on time, I got there at past 7 because of other commitments. Nevertheless the show was just on another level , heard that Snarks Ou and Maxhoseni had people dancing and singing along, even outside Cape Town they still have fans.
