WHEN YOU HEAR THE WORD SPAZA MUSIC DRIEMANSKAP RINGS A BELL



 

When you hear the word "Driemanskap" then Gugulethu rings bell. Driemanskap is a Hip Hop crew which has taken over the Hip Hop music by its horn. The crew all grew up together on the same street at NY7 Kakyard Street in Gugulethu. growing in a society filled with violence and poverty inspired them to latex on form a group whilst in high school back in 2001. Hip Hop to them is a way of expressing their views and pain a their surroundings, they are inspired by what they see and do everyday. 


 
It is one of the best crews in Cape Town ad all over South Africa. Bringing a unique sound and style in Hip Hop genre known as "SPAZA. It consist of four members El-Nino, Ma-B,Dla and Rendondo, Driemanskap choose their genre which is Spaza known as "Underground Hip Hop" has now dominated all over Cape Town.

Driemanskap also started recording at home and did their songs on recorded cassettes, performing at school Hip Hop session like All Nyz in Gugulethu. The song "Itsho into" has set a blaze all over Cape Town and in   theEastern Cape. 


 
As a listener of Drie I've discover that each individual has its own unique style in rapping. Driemanskap hosted shows in Ragazzi that was called Juke Box session where they given other artists to showcase their talents, they also had one in Platinum Lounge but all of that happened in 2012. Hoping they will bring them back this year because they played a huge role

  So yeah BACK TO THE CITY2013!! You know mos umntomnyama, never on time, I got there at past 7 because of other commitments. Nevertheless the show was just on another level , heard that Snarks Ou and Maxhoseni had people dancing and singing along, even outside Cape Town they still have fans.
