Snr: Who influenced you in the Music Industry ?
Prince Dbeera : Nas , that dude truly inspired my dream
SnR: Which Hip Hop album did you grow up listening to?
Prince Dbeera Kris Kross " Totally Crossed Out " and the first Snoop Dogg's album. I knew both those albums lyric to a lyric from the first track to the last. But Nas " It was written " truly did it for me. That was an entirely amazing body of artistry work
SnR What's unique about you from other rappers/artists?
Prince Dbeera I can adjust and adapt, I don't bottle myself up in a Hip Hop's music shell. I can switch up to any kind of style, but I always do it my own way ")
SnR What's your greatest fear you've had to overcome to get where you are?
Prince Dbeera: I've been exploited and overcame. Exploitation and rejection have always been an issue for me, it still is. It's only great I've learned a lot in the Music Industry business to face such fears
SnR Do you sometimes look yourself down when doing a collaboration with other artists?
Prince Dbeera Never, with over 25 years of experience in Hip Hop I believe I have perfected my craft. It's a mind thing you know . I take collaborations as a mission to put out a great song working with the people involved. It's not about being in a competition amongst different talents and individuals cutting the same track. That mentality between artists is unnecessary. I recently did a collaboration on my upcoming album with an international artist ( Drizzle Dollar ) who worked with 2 Chains and I didn't look myself down on that feature. The outcome of the song is truly amazing. I know what I'm capable of.
SnR How do you respond to negative responses?
Prince Dbeera: Well , I've come to accept the fact that not everyone will have my best interests at heart. There will always be negativity once in a while. But I have a way of taking constructive criticism into good use to better my art. Unnecessary and negative response I ignore cause my career needs my full attention and focus " ) Oct 12 at 10:29 AM · Sent from Mobile Prince Dbeera
