Homeboy the General Real name  Bongekile Nqiyama born in a small town in the Eastern Cape Called Engcobo ' currently residing in Cape Town khayelitsha he is a hiphop/kasirap artist that is dedicated to conscious,hardcore,love,social issues and everyday life that is happening in the ghetto,building an intimate Relationship with his fans through their experiences and his too. 

His aim is to bring back the message and life in the South African music industry. Homeboy's passion of music began in April 2013 and he has grown musically and physically,he's music playlisted on Local radio hiphop shows such as Bushradio,Radio Zbonele,UCR FM now he is in the studio recording his 1st Mixtape titled: Kasi Library,Homeboy the General is featured on a sound tracks compilation project that Feats cats all over S.A North West, Limpopo , Gauteng,western cape , Fee state , Northern Cape ,KZN ,Mpumalanga, Eastern Cape,and neighbouring SADC states of Swaziland,Botswana & Lesotho.

  So yeah BACK TO THE CITY2013!! You know mos umntomnyama, never on time, I got there at past 7 because of other commitments. Nevertheless the show was just on another level , heard that Snarks Ou and Maxhoseni had people dancing and singing along, even outside Cape Town they still have fans.
