Bathandwa ‘Borstol’ Bandla an underground rapper (19 years old) was born and raised in the dusty streets of Khayelitsha in Cape Town. Where he was raised by his aunt Vuyiseka Thelma Mapeyi, who today he considers her as his mother since he was raised by her. He lost his mother and father at a very young age (if you heard some his songs, he mentions this) and he was therefore was raised by his aunt. He attended his primary school at Holy Cross Primary School in Woodstock and he recently matriculated from Glendale Sec School in Mitchells Plain. He is now currently studying at the University of the Western Cape doing his first year.
